Barbara Cooke, M.A., has over 25 years’ experience in career and college planning, working with both traditional and non-traditional college students, high school students and homeschool students to help them identify and achieve their career/life goals.
She is the author of Parent’s Guide to College and Careers, How to Help, Not Hover, JIST 2010, a resource for parents and educators working with young adults around career issues. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a National Certified Career Counselor (NCCC), a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) and former member of the Board of Directors of the Missouri Community College Association (MCCA).
Ms. Cooke is a skilled career counselor, workshop facilitator, classroom teacher and online instructor. She is available for individual career counseling and consulting, as well for workshops for teenagers and young adults.
